This site stores nothing on your device

No cookies, no local storage, and nothing read from your device either.

The longer version is on the storage page.

Server logs, and one header from Cloudflare

Our host records every request: an IP address, the page, a timestamp, the browser’s user-agent string, and the response status. We use it to keep the site up, to deal with abuse, and to read the totals Cloudflare shows us: how many requests arrived, which pages, and which countries and referring sites they came from. The basis is our legitimate interest. We do not export the logs.

Cloudflare also sends a header that asks your browser to report connection failures to a Cloudflare address. It fires only when something breaks, and it carries no identifier we could tie to you.

If you write to us

Mail to hello@nestbound.app reaches a person, and there is no list to add you to.

The app

Nestbound for Mac collects nothing. It ships without any networking entitlement, so it cannot transmit anything anywhere; there is no account, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no third-party SDK with access to what you type. Your file stays on your Mac, in a folder you choose. Its App Store privacy label is “Data Not Collected” in every category. The rest of this notice covers this website.

How that is built, and how to check it yourself.

Who else sees any of this

Cloudflare, who serve the site and keep the request logs. OVH, who host our email and hold the domain. That is the complete list. We do not sell it and we do not share it for advertising.

The Nestbound app sends nothing to either of them, or to anyone else.

Data leaving Europe

Cloudflare is a US company, so serving this site involves a transfer to the United States. Our contract with them runs on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914. Write to hello@nestbound.app for a copy.

How long we keep things

The request logs stay with Cloudflare. Log export is switched off on our account, so we have never held a copy. Cloudflare keeps them for as long as it needs them to serve the pages and deal with abuse; we are confirming that period and will publish it here as a number. Email you send to hello@nestbound.app we keep for as long as we need it to answer you, and we delete it when you ask.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, delete it or restrict what we do with it, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and ask for it in a portable form. Where we rely on your consent you can withdraw it at any time, and doing so does not undo what was lawful before.

Write to hello@nestbound.app. We answer within one month, and we will tell you if we need longer and why. There is no charge.

You can complain to the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, the Spanish supervisory authority, at aepd.es.

Data Protection Officer

We have not appointed one, and none of the conditions in Article 37 GDPR require us to. If that changes we will appoint one and say so here.

Changes

If we change what we collect or why, we will change this page and say what changed and when. If a change needs your consent, we will ask before it takes effect.
